Dr. Bryon Benchley
Chiropractor
He has been a citizen of the Clare area his entire life. He is a graduate of Beaverton High, attended Ferris State University, graduated Cum Laude from Central Michigan University, and attended National College of Chiropractic (now National University) in Lombard, IL.
He is the father of two beautiful daughters and serves on many boards and committees throughout the area, including the Advisory Board of Tendercare Nursing Home, Board of Directors for Summit, Inc. and Gas Agency in Mt. Pleasant. He is also a member of the Michigan Association of Chiropractors, Clare Chamber of Commerce, and the Browns Corners United Brethren Church, to name a few.
Dr. Benchley founded Benchley Chiropractic Clinic in 1979. For over 30 years, he has provided quality chiropractic care to area residents, treating generations of families in the Clare area as well as patients from as far away as Lansing and Pinconning.
Dr. Craig Onstott
Certified Chiropractic Sports Practitioner
Dr. Onstott is originally from the Mt. Pleasant area. He graduated from Beal City High School and attended undergrad studies at Michigan State University and Central Michigan University. He earned his Bachelor of Science and Doctorate of Chiropractic in 2006 from Logan University in St. Louis, Missouri.
He has 14 years of clinical experience including associate doctor for multiple clinics, owned and operated private practice for 7 years, locum work for numerous practices, developed a chiropractic clinic on Native American Reservation in Montana, Associate of multidisciplinary sports rehab clinic.
Dr. Onstott’s experience includes family care from pregnancy to end of life care, functional medicine and nutrition, orthotics and bracing, health coaching and sports chiropractic. He has certification in Active Release Techniques and is currently working towards his CCSP title (Certified Chiropractic Sports Practitioner)
He is married to his beautiful wife and together they have 4 amazing kids. Their family lives in the Mt. Pleasant area and attend Mt. Pleasant Community Church. They live on a farm with many animals and are actively involved in the local 4H programs.
Dr. Onstott has strong roots in the Central Michigan area and his family loves all this area has to offer. They are excited to serve the Clare community and the surrounding areas for many years to come.
John McCracken
Office Manager
He has been from the Clare area all his life. He is the father of 4. He graduated from Chippewa Hills High School then served 8 years in the United States Marine Corps.
He started with Benchley Chiropractic Clinic in January 2010 as a Front Desk Assistant and Chiropractic Assistant. John Is certified with Rocktape (Kinesiology) Functional Movement Taping, Performance Movement Taping, Rock Blades and Cupping. He has also completed his Center for Chiropractic Experience certification. He is currently participating in the CA Advancement Program (CAAP) through the Michigan Association of Chiropractors and currently is furthering his education at Mid Michigan Community College.
John and his wife enjoy volunteering with the Farwell sports programs to include coaching Little League Softball, Volleyball and Youth Wrestling. John is also a board member for the Farwell Little League.
John is a Life Member of the Clare VFW where he is the Junior Vice Commander and he is a Firefighter for Garfield Township Fire Department.
